Beth Griffin

Beth Griffin, 57, passed away peacefully yet unexpectedly in her home on October 24th, 2022.
Born October 18, 1965, Beth was the beloved daughter of Jane Griffin and the late Dennis Griffin.

Beth graduated from Bishop Gibbons high school and Albany Business College. She was employed by NYS EnCon until she became disabled. As a diehard Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan, she never missed a game. She always made sure we knew exactly what channel, time and date the games were so we wouldn't miss them either. Beth was an amazing artist, an avid gardener and a great cook.

She loved to make meals for her family, especially Thanksgiving dinner. Beth also loved seeing movies at the Drive in theater, reading John Grisham books and cruising tropical islands.

Though life did not always come easy for Beth, she was willing to give the shirt off her back and her last dime to her loved ones if they needed it. She loved and protected her family fiercely and her strength will live on in us. She was so loved and will be missed by many, especially her mother and daughter who never stopped believing in her. "If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever".

In addition to her father, Beth was predeceased by her sister Denise.

She is survived by her daughter Rachel Flood Quinlan (Sean), her granddaughter Avery Jane and her mother Jane. She is also survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and her crazy dog Molly.

A visitation will be held on Saturday October 29th from 9am-11am, with a service to follow at 11am, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie NY.
