SCHENECTADY – Bethann Lewis Jackson, 58, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Ellis Hospital.
Beth was born on August 19, 1954 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Arthur E. and June B. Lewis. She graduated from nursing school and received her LPN degree. She worked for CHP, now Kaiser Permanente, for many years before retiring. Beth enjoyed music, dancing, but most especially spending time with her family. She was the cornerstone of the family. She lived a very full life and was bright and funny and full of love.
Beth is survived by her loving husband, Michael Jackson; her loving children, Jarrod M. Lewis and Jazella E. Lewis; her siblings, Aarin, Ellen, and Joseph Lewis; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
