GLENVILLE, NY – Bettie J. Mirabile, 79, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2007. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Francis Bushie. She was a resident of Colonie and Glenville for all of her life. Bettie and her husband John, owned and operated the Bon-Jon Tavern in Colonie for 18 years. Mrs. Mirabile also worked in real estate for many years. She enjoyed bowling and belonged to many bowling leagues. Bettie was the beloved wife of the late John J. Mirabile. She is the devoted mother of Tina P. Mirabile of Glenville and the cherished grandmother of Gion Mirabile of Manhattan. She was the sister of the late Harold Bushie. Bettie is also survived by many loving in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 noon at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 in memory of Bettie J. Mirabile.
