Betty A. Severino

LOUDONVILLE – Betty A. Fucci Severino, 93, of Loudonville, passed away on Friday evening, October 26, 2012 at the Westmere Home for Adults. She was born in Troy and was predeceased by her parents, Augustine and Anna DeGregorio Fucci and her husband, Anthony J. Severino Sr.
Betty worked in retail for many years. She was a woman of high energy and cherished her loving family. Betty had a great sense of style and a personality to match. She enjoyed dancing and celebrating life with those she loved. She will be dearly missed.
Betty is the beloved mother of Anthony J. Severino Jr., Peter (Patricia) Severino, Anne Marie (Robert) Lemerise and Donna (Nick) DiNovo. She is the sister of the late Frank, Jack, James, Gus and Richard Fucci and Mary Normile. She is the sister in law of Connie Severino. Betty is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful staff at Westmere Home for Adults for their exceptional care and compassion of our Mother.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 9:45 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343, New Karner Rd. Colonie then to St. Pius X Church, Loudonville at 10:30 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Betty Severino.
