Albany - Betty B. Clark, 77, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2022 with her loving family by her side.

Betty was the daughter of the late Winston B. and Anna L. Mackay.

Betty was a loyal civil servant who worked for the NYSIF for many years before retiring. Betty was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to the casino. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children, William J. Clark, Jr. and Betty A. (John) Bennett; her grandchildren, John F. Bennett, Jr., Marissa A. Bennett, Shaun M. McLaughlin, April Zwack and Chelsea Myers and great grandchildren, Myla Bennett, Allison M. Loucks, Jayden Bennett, Na'leah McLaughlin, P.K. Bowls and Chloe Hooker; her nephews, Kenneth R. (Toni) Sturtevant and Brett T. Mackay, Jr. and her niece, Dawn (Mike) Heidelmark.

Betty is also survived by her brother, Brett T. (Donna) Mackay, Sr. and many loving relatives and friends.

Betty is predeceased by her sister, Harriet VanWormer; her nephew, Douglas E. Sturtevant, and her grandson, William J. Clark III.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204.
