Betty J. Hoogkamp

Betty J. Hoogkamp, 74, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born in Berne, NY to the late Harold and Catherine Quay. In addition to her parents Betty was predeceased by her loving husband, Preston and her son, Ronald.
Betty is survived by her beloved children; Beverly (David) Schonfeld, Barbara Gallagher, David (Lisa) Hoogkamp, Daniel (Linda) Hoogkamp, Timothy Hoogkamp and Melonie (Kenneth) Klouse; her cherished grandchildren; Stacey, Greg, Alicia, Ashley, DJ, Zachary and Ronny. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Towne.
Memorial calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Burial will be at the privacy of the family. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Hospice Inn at St. Peters for their care and compassion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in Betty's honor.
