Betty L. Malhenzie, 69, went home to be with her Lord on July 1st, 2022 at home, after a long battle with cancer. Born in New Berlin, NY, Betty was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Angell. She was a graduate of New Berlin Central School, and a member of Heritage Baptist Church.

She lovingly cared for many children in her home throughout the years, she was an excellent seamstress, and she loved her family dearly.

In addition to her husband Dale, she is survived by children Melinda Malhenzie, Wendy (Mike) Stevens, and Eric (Leah) Malhenzie, grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Rachel and Lauren Stevens, Sarah and Andrew Malhenzie, brother Roger (Barbara) Angell, sister Alice (David) Cappadonia, nephew David (Megan) Cappadonia and niece Elizabeth (Ben) Amorese.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday July 7th from 4pm-7pm New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd, Watervliet NY. A funeral service will take place on Friday July 8th at 10am at the funeral home.

Interment to follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville NY.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church in Cohoes NY.
