Betty Schultz
Colonie- Betty Schultz, 85, passed away at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Ola Maylin. A homemaker most of her life Betty had also worked as a sales associate for Pomeroy's and L.C. Harris Furniture in Pennsylvania. Betty was also a past member of the Eastern Star. Betty is predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years Gustave Schultz, her sister Sylvia Moran, and her brother Arthur Maylin.
Betty is survived by her son Martin Schultz and his wife Janine of Latham, her two grandchildren, Suzanne Schultz of Troy and Edward Dwyer and his wife Erin of Scotia. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Ryan Dwyer.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Betty Schultz. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.newcomerfamily.com.
