Beulah D. Moshier, 83, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009.
She was born in Rensselaer, the daughter of the late McClellan and Frances (Boody) Dyer and was a lifelong capital district resident. Beulah was a loving and caring housewife who not only raised her four children, but mothered half the neighborhood children as well. She was an avid NY Yankee fan who loved to cook, a fastidious cleaner and a long time communicant of Christ the King Church. Beulah was predeceased by her first husband Robert T. Foley, who was killed in action during a naval battle in Okinawa during WW II and her loving second husband of 53 years, Albert B. Moshier.
She is survived by her children: Diane Foley Brimhall, Albert (JoAnn) Moshier, Thomas (Linda) Moshier and John (Rhonda Lee) Moshier, grandchildren: Michael, Shawn, Carianne, Jason, Sarajane, Alexandra, Zachary, Thomas, Sarah, Amy, Mark and Christopher, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters: Adria Praga and Frances Hotaling and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday 9:15 AM from New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.) then to Christ The King Church, Sumpter Ave., Guilderland, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be Thursday 4:00 to7:00pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King will gather at 4:30pm on Thursday at the funeral home for a service of prayer and remembrance.
