COLONIE- Beverley A. Babcock Lee, 77, of Colonie, passed away on Thursday March 30, 2006 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio after an extended illness.
She was born in Fairhaven, Vermont and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude Bemis. Bev enjoyed playing cards, bingo and bowling. She was a longtime member of Boght Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Reformed Church of Boght
She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald R. Lee; her daughter, Patricia A. White (Arthur) and her son, Gary A. Babcock (Linda). She is the sister of Gladys Sabatello, Donald Bemis and Nancy Bemis. She is the grandmother Jennifer, Stephanie and Danielle White, Michael Finn, Gregory and Jon Babcock. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made in Beverley's name to Reformed Church of Boght, 583 Boght Rd. Cohoes, NY 12047.
