Albany~ Beverly E. DeFreest passed away October 4, 2021, with her four loving children by her side. Beverly was born in West Chazy, New York, on February 23, 1932 to the late William and Eva Brown.
In 1952, Beverly married Harold G. Defreest. Beverly loved her garden, and always had a green thumb. She was a Huge! Yankee fan. When the baseball season started, it was understood that you were to not call her during the baseball game. She enjoyed playing and calling "Bingo" for her friends at the Colonie Senior Center. Beverly also enjoyed puzzles, and would spend hours in her family room doing her jigsaw puzzles. After 30 years of service, at the age of 86, Beverly decided to retire from South Colonie School District, where she was a Custodian at the district office.
Beverly loved nothing more than, spending time with her family and, having her whole family at her house for the holidays, especially on Christmas Eve. Beverly's children meant the world to her and she would often tell them "I Love you so much more than you will ever know"!
Beverly is preceded in death her husband of 63 years Harold G. DeFreest. Five brothers; Ansel, George, Leon, William (Bill), Herbert. Three sisters; Ione, Joan, Evelyn.
Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, four Children; Beverly (Milo) Morse, Patricia (Glen) Roberts, Diane (Bill) Smith, Michael (Karen) DeFreest. Eleven Grandchildren. Seventeen Great-grandchildren. Two Brothers; Kenny Brown, Emile Brown. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Beverly will be greatly missed.
