CLIFTON PARK - Beverly E. Finley, 88, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
Beverly was born on May 11, 1924 in Albany and was the daughter of the late James Edward and Anna E. (Olsey) Golden. She worked as a key punch operator for the NY Telephone Company for over 30 years before retiring. She loved crosswords, ceramics, the race track, tabloids, holidays, cooking, and traveling, but most especially spending time with her grandkids.
Beverly is survived by her loving children, Philip (Barbara) Finley Jr., Patricia (the late Daniel) Hill, Deborah Moran, and Kathie (Tom) Ciccone; her son-in-law, Roger Bouchard; 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and her feline companion, Maddie. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Philip Finley Sr., her daughter, Gayle Bouchard; her infant daughter, Ann Finley; and her grandsons, Patrick and Kenny.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, 86 Church Road, Crescent. Interment will follow at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Beverly E. Finley.
