Beverly Joan Roscoe

COLONIE – Beverly Joan Rosoce, 71, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Gray and Alice Gray. Beverly lived in Colonie for most of her life. She worked as a Tax Professional with H & R Block for over thirty-five years. Beverly was the first female firefighters and EMT/Paramedic with the Midway Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad. She enjoyed coaching her sons when they played Colonie Little League. Beverly and her husband enjoyed square dancing with the Helderberg Twirlers. Beverly was an avid NY Yankees fan and especially enjoyed being with her family.


Beverly is the beloved wife of fifty-one years to Michael Roscoe. She is the devoted mother of Michele (James Schmidbauer) Caddell, Keith (Karen) Roscoe, Eric (Debbie) Roscoe and Kevin (Melanie) Roscoe. She is the loving sister of Janis Phillips, Karen Daley and the late Diana Colleton and Sandra Long. Beverly is the cherished grandmother of John, Kaylin, Kasi, Keith, Elizabeth, Brian, Jamie, Christopher, Curt, Darren, Kellie, Benjamin, Brooke and Aaron. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.


Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Rotterdam Babe Ruth, P.O.
