Beverly A. Panetta

SLINGERLANDS - Beverly Ann Panetta, 81, of Slingerlands, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, February 26, 2024. She was born in Albany, NY to the late Peter and Elizabeth (Manning) Heidelmark. She was predeceased by her late husband, Luigi Panetta and her sister Linda DiLillo.

Beverly was a graduate from the Cardinal McClosky High School in Albany. She also worked for many years as a secretary for the City of Albany Parks and Recreation Department where she retired in 2002. Beverly was an active member of the Capital District YMCA in Guilderland where she loved to swim. She was also an avid NY Giants football fan and never missed a game. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren participate in many sporting events as well.

Beverly was a dedicated mother and grandmother and the best nonna to her great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters Lisa (James) Lenseth, Teresa (Scott) Zwinge, her grandchildren Amanda (Michael) Califano, Erica (Travis) Wilton and Scott (Makayla Wright) Zwinge Jr., great grandchildren Nicholas, Charlotte and Weston. She is also survived by her siblings, Sue Ryan, Dale (Bruce) Upton and Peter (Carol) Heidelmark as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call, Wednesday from 10:00am to 11:00am at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Avenue, Albany, NY 12203. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Albany NY.
