Bianca Audino, 85, of Albany, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2022 at St. Peter's Hospital after a courageous battle with her health.
She was born in Siderno, Calabria, Italy July 14, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Angela Fiorenza. Bianca immigrated to Albany 52 years ago in hope for a better life for her and her family. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed her vegetable garden, canning tomotoes and olives, baking bread, making soppressata, wine and traditional recipes from her native country. She was talented in knitting, crocheting and sewing. Bianca loved to spend time with her family.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 52 years, Nicola and sister Rosa Vombaca, sister in law Emilia Romeo (Vincent Romeo), brothers in law Cosimo and Anthony and Carol Audino.
Bianca is survived by her cherished children Maria Audino Caccamo and Frank Audino (Nancina Sinisgalli), beloved grandchildren Dominick and Teresa Caccamo, Ryon Audino, Francesco Audino, great grandchildren Faith Audino, Le'ciana Foster, Caleb and Luca Caccamo, sister Lina Romeo, Guiseppina Leali, Pierino Fiorenza, Immaculate Marzano, sister in law Teresa Mancuso Audino as well as 29 nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff and St. Peter's Hospital for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, New York.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday March 18th at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Avenue, Albany NY 12205
Interment to follow in the Memory Gardens.
