ALBANY – Blanche Pauline Croskey, 80, departed this world on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Blanche was born on November 20, 1925 in Hartford, CT and was the daughter of the late Marvin and Blanche (Murdock) Robinson.
Blanche was currently employed for 18 years as a Foster Grandparent. She had also worked at the Albany County Nursing Home.
Blanche leaves to cherish her fun and loving memories, a sister, Dorothy Milner; a brother, Thomas Robinson; granddaughters, Pauline Morton and Shevette Thompson; grandson, Anthony Thompson; great grandchildren, Sardae Piper, Anyanan Outing, Rhamia and Shademia Thompson, and Marlicia McCargo; and a great great grandson, Adonte Ford and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her twin daughters, Gail Thompson and Grace Robinson; her sisters, Helen Ward, Geraldine Morgan, Marjorie "Geneva" Banks, Elizabeth and Hazel Robinson; her brothers, Daniel and Marvin Robinson and a great grandson, Emmanuel Albea.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
