Bobby Lee Liddell

ALBANY - Bobby L. Liddell 78, husband of Martha Liddell of Warrington, NC, passed away peacefully in his home on February 15, 2024. Born August 10, 1945, in Clarksdale, MS, he was the son of the late Ellis Liddell and Theresa Johnson.

Bobby Liddell was a chef for the VA Medical Center for 28 years. Bobby was a devoted father and husband who loved his music, dancing, and telling jokes. He was a member of New Hope Church in Albany, NY.

He is survived by his loving wife Martha and his three children, Mary (Cookie) Koonce and her husband Lee of Albany, NY, Robert Liddell and his fiancé Linda Davis-Pedlar and Quan Liddell of Albany, NY, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two brothers, Ricky Laws and David Laws, and three sisters Linda Laws, Beatrice Laws, and Lynn Liddell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Lisa Liddell, his five brothers Andrew Lee Laws, Leamuel Laws, Jerry Laws, and Larry Laws and Charlie Liddell.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, and he will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Wednesday February 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM to be immediately followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM at New Hope Church, 334 Second Avenue, Albany, NY 12209. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetary 680 Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY 12209.
