Bonita (Bonnie) Ludington, 73, of Latham has entered eternal life surrounded by her loving family on April 3, 2023.
Bonita was born July 29, 1949 in the Syracuse area and graduated from Shaker High School in Latham. She worked at Key Corporation as a telecommunications system programmer and retired from Latham Medical Group as a receptionist.
Bonita was the daughter of James and the late Lorraine Muckey. She is survived by her father; her loving husband, Steven Ludington; her children, Tamara (Richard) Messier, Cissy (Todd) Murphy and James (Martine) Nealand of Cohoes; her 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; her sister Rene (Martin) Tromblee, her niece and nephew and her faithful companion, Sassy.
Bonita loved spending time with her family, tending to her flower gardens and her trips to the casino.
A Celebration of Life will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204 or the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Ln, Latham, NY 12110.
