Bonita Schneible

SCOTIA – Bonita Schneible, 91, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Butler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bernadine Hockenberry.

Bonita graduated from Scotia- Glenville High School. She worked for General Electric, and retired after 24 years from Colonie Motors/ Langan Porche and Audi.

Along with her parents, Bonita was predeceased by her husband, Francis.
She will be missed by her children, C. Richard Schneible (Arlene) of Bloomingdale, IL, Paul Schneible of Schenectady, Bonita Bushee (Bill) of Tallahassee, FL, Lawrence Schneible of Clifton Park, Katherine Wilson (Bill) of East Meadow, NY, and Eleanor Goodspeed (Tom) of Glenville; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:00 am at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Avenue, Guilderland. Calling hours will be on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 4:50 pm for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Home for Women, 1519 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309 in Bonita's name.
