Bonnie Eileen Quick, 65, passed away Monday, May 20th, 2019 with her loving family and friends by her side after a long debilitating battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Bonnie Quick was born August 4th, 1953, the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Church) Quick.
Bonnie was religious holding true to her faith till the end. Bonnie was a people person who loved socializing with everyone she came in contact with; ending each interaction with I love you. Bonnie was also very giving and could be caught doing random acts of kindness often. Bonnie was also fun loving and couldn't wait to share her joy of living with others.
Prior to her disease Bonnie modeled in her youth. She was apart of the 60's movement. In the 70's she shook her groove thing and knew how to party it up with the best of them. Bonnie later worked very hard as a housekeeper at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. She taught piano and painted in her spare time. Bonnie was also very active and ran every morning regardless of weather conditions.
Following her diagnosis Bonnie continued to live a full life. She enjoyed many activities, music events, and many other functions with her friends and family.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Christina (Marvin) Wilson and Bonnie Warning; her grandchildren, Genavieve, Christian, Chloe, Vanessa; her sister Laurie Hungsinger; bother-in-law, Albert Pickens; her nephews, Zach and Albie; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Bonnie is predeceased by her sister, Sandra Pickens.
Bonnie Eileen Quick was beloved by her family and friends. Bonnie's ability to run may have been taken from her for a long time but she is flying now with angels by her side. She will not be forgotten. She will be remembered in our hearts and be truly missed.
A Remembrance Memorial will be held to celebrate Bonnie Quick's life at St. Peters Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 301 Hackett Blvd., Albany, NY, on Friday, May 31st, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Inurnment to follow at Albany Rural Cemetery at a later date.
