Brandon Paul Barthelmas

COLONIE – Brandon Paul Barthelmas, 31, of Albany passed away on March 16, 2021 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Albany on March 2. 1990 a son of William G. and Suzanne (Kellas) Barthelmas. He graduated from Colonie High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College.

Brandon was employed as a customer service representative for Time Warner Cable. He then worked as a Telemarketer with Huff n Puff Insulators in Rotterdam before joining Emblem Health in Albany where he worked briefly until becoming ill.
Brandon enjoyed hiking, playing the guitar, music and his sound system. He loved to play, swim and just spend time with his son, Ethan. He looked forward to Saturdays when he would prepare a delicious meal for the family.

Brandon is survived by his son, Ethan who was the center of his universe; his parents, William and Suzanne; his brother, Dalton and his sister Ashley; several aunts uncles and cousins; his four-legged friends, Mika and Mattie; his loving girlfriend, Laurie Cohn and several good friends.

Visiting hours will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.

A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date to be announced
