Brenda Brooks

Albany – Brenda E. Brooks, 70, passed from this life to the next on Thursday July 31, 2014. Born in New York, she is the daughter of the late Oliver and Lillie Mae Brooks.

Brenda was employed by the Albany Housing Authority for more than 30 years before retiring in 2002.

Brenda is survived by her son, John Eric ; her granddaughter Erica; and her siblings Joan Marbury, Wanda Madison and James Dixon. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.

Viewing for Brenda will be held Friday August 8th from 10 a.m. – 12p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Funeral services will commence at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
