Guilderland- Brenda Burnett of Guilderland passed away into heaven surrounded by her loving family at Albany Medical Center on Thursday morning, July 29, 2021 from a long term illness.
She was born in Albany, NY on April 28th, 1960 and was the daughter of the late Stella Sheehy. Brenda co-owned Cachet Hair Salon with her sister Eileen Aviza and made a lifelong impact on coworkers and clients.
Brenda always cherished the little things in life including bike rides, swimming, card/ board games, but most importantly, laughing. Brenda enjoyed going out to dinner with family and friends, the outdoors, her pet dogs, and playing the lottery. Anyone who knew Brenda knew how much the holidays meant to her, particularly dressing up for Halloween. Brenda was a very thoughtful and selfless individual who valued her faith and trust in the Lord throughout her entire life. She will be sadly missed by her loving family.
Brenda is the beloved wife of Michael Burnett, mother of Nicholas Warnken, Chantel Burnett, and Mikyla Burnett. She is the sister of Nancy (Dick) Finley, Diane Yetto, and Eileen (Mike) Aviza. She is also survived by many devoted nieces and nephews and loving friends.
