Guilderland – Brenda M. Evans, 48, passed away on Saturday November 23, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. Born in Brooklyn, she is the daughter of John and Patricia Gibbons of Stamford, NY.
Brenda was a dedicated member of The Guilderland Elks B.P.O.E. # 2480, and a former caterer of Pinehaven Country Club.
Brenda is survived by her beloved husband Gary of 13 years, and children; Matt (Samantha) Evans and Michael Evans. She is also survived by her sisters; Deirdre Gibbons and Aileen (Jay) Butler, and her cherished niece Fiona and nephew Sean.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday November 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Madeline Sophie Church in Guilderland, NY. Calling hours will be Friday November 29th from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brenda's name to St. Peter's Hospital Foundation "Becky's House", 315 South Manning Blvd. Albany, NY 12208.
