SCHENECTADY - Brenda M. Pfiitze, 64, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023.
Brenda was born on February 14, 1959 in Plattsburg, NY, the daughter of Frances M. (Ladd) Gallo and the late Willard B. Bond. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School and graduated from their nursing program.
Brenda was a operations manager "The BOSS" for The Lily & The Rose Catering Co. in Ballston Spa for over 25 years before retiring in 2014. She previously worked as a nurse at Saratoga Hospital. She enjoyed going to Bingo with her sisters, having breakfast at her brothers home, hanging out at her sisters home by the pool, traveling, and an was avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.
In addition to her mother, Fran, Brenda is survived by her siblings, Sherry (Alex) Magiera, Patricia (Jim) Bond, Jacquie Bond, and Ronald (Angela) Bond; her son, Brendan Pfiitze, grandson, Drake Tanzer; her longtime friend, Kim Klopstock; several nieces and nephews, and her K-9 companion, Katie. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday, August 14th, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 am to 12 noon. Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Brenda requested that there are to be no flowers. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Northeast Kidney Foundation, 22 Colvin Ave., Albany, NY 12206 in memory of Brenda M. Pfiitze.
