Brian Danz

Brian Danz, 62, of Delmar, passed away on April 11, 2021 at his residence with his loving children by his side. Born in Albany, he is the son of the late Ferdinand and Ruth (Wendell) Danz.

Brian is the proud father of Jason (Betsy) of Delmar, Craig (Amanda O'Leary) of Delmar and Nichole of Ravena. He also leaves behind grandchildren- Maddie, Ellie and Ben Danz, Aniyah Danz and Josiah Koronkiewicz. In addition, Brian is survived by his five siblings: Dennis of Rotterdam, Steven (Deborah) of Latham, Patricia Marx (Peter Bubb) of Rotterdam, Richard (Barbara) of Colonie and Bruce of Rotterdam. Brian is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Robert, sister-in-law, Laurie, and his granddaughter, Kaliyah.

Brian enjoyed a long career as a glazier which all began many years ago at Dave's Glass. He enjoyed attending the numerous family events and activities his grandchildren participated in. Some of his favorite past-times were decorating for Christmas and taking vacations to New Hampshire with his family. Brian also enjoyed spending time outdoors while hunting and fishing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 15, 2021, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, Colonie, New York. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, 10:00 am at New Comer with the interment to follow at Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation.

Gathering size, within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
