ALBANY - Brian O'Hare Anderson , 69, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 29, 2014.
Born and raised in Albany, NY he was the son of the late John C. and Myrtle E. (Green) O'Hare. He had been a resident of Fawn Ridge Assisted Living in Troy since 2009. Brian worked many jobs throughout his lifetime including Freihofer Bakery, City of Albany Parks Dept. and New York State Department of Tax and Finance.
When he was younger he enjoyed roaming the streets of central Albany greeting many he would call friends. His life was filled with challenges and he struggled to overcome them and keep moving forward.
Brian was the beloved brother of John (Elizabeth) O'Hare of Albany, Mary Ellen (Edward) Cross of Colonie, Dennis (Barbara) O'Hare of Niskayuna, Patricia Casey of Cohoes, Dorothy (Lance Turner) O'Hare of Brunswick, Nancy Jensen of Latham, James O'Hare of Colonie, Virginia (Michael) Fisher of Clifton Park, and Joseph (Patricia) O'Hare of Austin, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Michael and his sister, Priscilla Jayne. He was also predeceased by Leonard Anderson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul's Church, 900 Madison Ave. at Partridge St., Albany. Interment will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands. There will be no calling hours.
