Brian Ohlman

Albany- Brian C. Ohlman, 69, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

Brian was born in Albany, NY he was the son of the late Richard J. and Marion E. Ohlman.

Brian is predeceased by his loving wife, Marion Knowles- Ohlman and sisters Vivian Van Allen and Janet Price.

Brian was a one of a kind carpenter. He enjoyed creating masterpieces with his wood work. He spent many years camping at what he called the "ponderosa". He loved gardening whether it was vegetables or flowers. Brian loved hard and cheerished his family very much, he was a fun loving soul who would do anything for anyone.

Brian is survived by his daughter Emily V. Ohlman (Herbert Fusco) and their three children Joshua, Malia and Herbert Jr.

He will also be missed by his brothers Grant Ohlman (Donna), Scott Ohlman (Bill), his sister Amy Ohlman, his sisters in law Debbie Smith, Joan Sagendorf (Greg) and many neices, nephews, family and friends.

Calling hours will be Friday, April 18th, 2025 from 5pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A sharing of memories will begin at 7pm at the funeral home.
