Brida L. Lemieur

Brida (Grande) Lemieur, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 1, 2024 with her loving family by her side.

Brida was the daughter of the late David and Catherine (Caufield) Grande.

She was the devoted wife of over 62 years, to the late Phillip Lemieur.

Brida was a member and a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham.

She enjoyed bowling, singing with the Community Theater and spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was predeceased by her brother David Grande.

Brida is survived by her children, Phyllis (Rob) Webster, Tom (Diane) Lemieur, Linda (Chris) Marson and John (Becky) Lemieur, her sister Cathy Grande, and her grandchildren, Travis, Brendan, Elise, Forrest, James and Kaylie.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Wednesday August 7, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Albany, NY.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Eddy, building 3 and the Eddy Community Hospice Team for all of their love and support given to Brida.
