Bridget S. Mossidus (Archambault)

COLONIE – Bridget S. Mossidus (Archambault), 55, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Bridget was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Theodore H. and Louise C. (DeBenedetto) Mossidus. Bridget worked for the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany with 24 years of service, currently working as a medical clerk. She loved gardening, cooking and baking but most especially spending time with her family.
Bridget is survived by her companion, George Vooris of Rensselaer; her children, Nicole, Michael and Patrick Archambault all of Colonie; her sister, Thalia Mossidus of Colonie; her aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Chris Hermides; her cousins, Mary Ella and Lynn Burgess; dear friend, Marie Brooks; and her canine companion, Teddy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Rd., Albany. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be held at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m., where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7:30.
