Bruce A. Poliquin, 63, passed away at his home Wednesday February 11, 2009.
Bruce was born in Troy, NY the son of the late Leo and Helen Poliquin and was a lifelong capital district resident. He worked for Sears Roebuck for over 24 years and was a long times member of the Knights of Columbus. Bruce was predeceased by his wife Eleanor who passed away in 2003.
He is survived by his sister Brenda (Charles) Catizone of Colonie and his brother Richard Poliquin of Enwell, NY, his nieces and nephews; Belinda Biagotti, Craig Catizone, Mark Catizone and Dawn LaPointe, his close friends; Joe Tozzi, Frank Scaia, Tom Pfaff and his brothers and sisters at the Latham Knights of Columbus.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). A calling hour will precede the service from 11:00am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
