Bruce B. Macpherson

ALBANY, NY – Bruce B. Macpherson, died suddenly on Saturday, February 8, 2011. He was born in Albany on August 3, 1945 and lived in the Capital District his entire life. Bruce was a graduate of Shaker High School and attended Siena College. He served in the U.S. Army as a Cambodian translator in Vietnam. Bruce worked for Albany County and retired after many years. He was an avid reader and always had a tip for his fellow horse racing fan. Bruce is survived by his sister, Irene Greenberg and his nieces and nephews: Deborah Golden and Aaron, Rachael and Ethan Greenberg. He was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Marion Macpherson, and his sister, Alice Golden.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
