SCHENECTADY – Bruce F. Hildenbrandt, 48, of Schenectady, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2004 at St. Clare's Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Niskayuna and lived in the Capital District for all of his life. Bruce was a South Colonie Central High School graduate. He served for three years in the United States Army. Bruce worked for Material Handling Supply for over fifteen years. He was an accomplished artist and enjoyed attending car shows. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Bruce is the beloved son of Lois White and the late Joseph Hildenbrandt. He is the cherished brother of Wayne, Joseph and Tina Hildenbrandt. Bruce is the dear friend of Keane Gordon. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Schumacher, the nursing staff at St. Clare's Hospital and the Dialysis Unit for all of the care and support given to Bruce during his illness.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at a time to be announced at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 23 Computer Drive East, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Bruce F. Hildenbrandt.
