Bruce P. Parish

PITTSTOWN – Bruce P. Parish, 55, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Bruce was born on July 21, 1955 in Schenectady and is the son of George and Alice (LaBombard) Parish. He retired from the City of Schenectady where he was a maintenance engineer. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Lorie A. Parish; his loving children, Stacy (David) Green, Shawn Parish, John, Kevin, Eric, Alisha, and Sara Somma; his cherished grandchildren, Alisya, McKayla, Brennan, Karley, Cora, Kyle, Kory, and Craig; his sisters, Corinna (Frederick) Burgess, Sharon Mango, Jo-An Parish, Pam Parish (Wayne Myers), and Michele Hernandez; his brothers, George Jr., Thomas, and Russell Parish; and his godparents, James (Jane) LaBombard and Patricia LaBombard. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
