Schenectady- Bruce T. Pelletier, 70, passed away at home on Monday, March 7, 2005 surrounded by his family. Born in Schenectady he was the son of the late George and Anna Pelletier. Bruce was a military veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army. He had worked as a Senior Tax Technician for the NYS Dept. of Taxation and Finance until his retirement in 1996. Bruce was a devoted husband and father whose family was the focus of his life. Bruce is predeceased by his brothers; Raymond and Lawrence Pelletier, and his sister Mary Armor. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Welch, and also the staff of the Community Hospice of Schenectady County for the devotion and support given to Bruce and his family.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Jean E. Pelletier of Schenectady, his four cherished children; Sheila Holloway and her husband Randy of Glenville, Christine Pelletier of Schenectady, Douglas Pelletier of Schenectady, and Rachael Pelletier and her fiancée Anthony Zampella of Schenectady, and his two grandchildren; Nicole Holloway, and Jacob Zampella. He is also survived by his brothers; Ross, Thomas, George, and William Pelletier, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11th at 11:00 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Schenectady County, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308, in memory of Bruce T. Pelletier.
