Bruce Wasserman, 50, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
A graduate of Shaker High School and Hudson Valley Community College, he was for years the owner-operator of JG's Pizza on Lark Street in downtown Albany.
An avid outdoorsman, enthusiastic music lover, and passionate chef, Bruce had lived and worked in some of the most beautiful parts of the country, including Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, New Orleans, and Steamboat Springs in the Colorado Rockies.
Survived by his parents, Gary and Diane, and brother, Paul, Bruce will be forever loved and missed by those fortunate enough to have shared time with him.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12180. Burial will be private.
