Waterford- Caden N. Rourke, 19, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Caden was born in Albany and was the son of Carl and Sharon Burns.
Caden was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and the Capital Region Boces CTE Diesel Technician program. It is however his vigorous personality that will most be remembered. Caden lived every day of his life to the fullest, and he encouraged his friends to do the same. His favorite past times included camping, fishing, and driving his truck to new adventures. He loved motorcycles and dreamed of one day owning a Harley.
Caden was proudly employed by the Keeler Motor Car Company. To Caden it was more than a job; it was a place that he looked forward to going to each day. He often spoke about his colleagues and the joy he experienced being a part of such an incredible team.
In addition to his parents, Caden is survived by his grandparents, Karen (Don Healy) Rourke, Richard Rourke, David and Ruth Harding, and Barbara Savoie; sister, Marie DeLorenzo; brothers, Avery (Brenda) Rourke, Thomas "Cole" Madsen, and Riley Bagley; nephew, Isaiah, nieces Arabella and Elena; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Caden is predeceased by his birth mom, Erin Rourke Bagley; and grandfather, Wallace Burns.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York 12189 on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a service to immediately follow at 7:00 p.m.
