COLONIE - Carl D. Olsen, 69, of Colonie passed away on March 9, 2024
He was born in Albany on May 21, 1954 a son of the late Carl and Joan (Wigg) Olsen.
He worked for many years as a driver for Buzzy Taxi in Albany.
Carl was affectionately known as "Grandpa", but he wasn't just a grandpa to the grandchildren of his longtime partner, Marianne. He became a grandpa to the children of family friends alike, always including the children on many camping and fishing excursions. He was deeply loved by those who knew him and he will be sorely missed.
