Carl R. Layman

OBITUARY

COLONIE, NY – Carl R. Layman passed away suddenly on December 23, 2009, with his family by his side. He was born in Albany to the late Carl and Helen (Healey) Layman. Carl enjoyed camping, woodworking in his shed, his yearly trips to Las Vegas, and his family trips to North Carolina.

Carl is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ginny (Zembrzuski) Layman; his children, Rob (Dawn) Layman, Tori (Trevor) Normandin, and James (Allana) Layman; his grandchildren, Hunter, Kendra, Mason, Bethany and Briana; his brother, Richard (Carol) Layman; and his brother-in-law, Ted (Kathy Coughlin) Zembrzuski.

Funeral service will be Sunday 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 in Carl's honor.
