Carla A. Roland

Carla Ann Roland (Mancini) 75, passed away at home peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2022. Born in Troy, she was a beloved mother and grandmother and was the daughter of the late Vincent "Jimmy" and Gertrude Mancini. Carla was greeted in heaven by her lifelong love, her husband, Donald A. Roland.

Carla loved being around family and friends. She was known to be selfless and caring and will be sorrowfully missed. Carla enjoyed the simple things in life, like spending time with her grandson, Donald, and curling up with an enjoyable book. Carla was a worshipper of Our Lady of Victory.

Carla is survived by her daughters Kim Lane and Jackie Roland, her grandchild Donald Lane; her siblings Donna (Bill) Shanahan, Kathy Mancini, Lynell Mancini Canastra, and predeceased by her sister Marye Alissa Mancini and brother Jimmy Mancini. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm-7:00pm, Monday, October 24, 2022, at NewComer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie 12205. She will be laid to rest Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Please arrive by 12:00 pm at Elmwood Hills Cemetery 51 Belle Ave, Troy, NY 12180
