Carlyle Anthony Harris

Carlyle "CJ" Harris, 14 passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at his home, with his loving family by his side.

CJ is survived by his parents, Anthony and Marion Harris, his siblings, Alana, Atiana, Luis Harris and Elias Rodriquez. Also survived by his birth mother Danielle Harris. His Aunts and Uncles who adored him Stephanie (Danny) DiTonno, Anthony (Victoria) Harris, and Amanda Harris. Along with his cousins Daniel and Tyler DiTonno, and Semar Wimberly.

CJ was an amazing happy boy with a smile that lit up the room. His fun personality and uplifting aura brought light to all that met him.

He attended Crossroads Center and Wildwood schools in Schenectady where he was surrounded by so many who loved him and helped him become the beautiful boy he was. CJ enjoyed spending his days at school with his teachers, staff, and his "friends". He loved the simple things in life whether it was his swing in his yard, swimming in his pool, or watching endless hours of movies and YouTube videos, or maybe even "Selena" ;)

His family would like to thank the Melodies Center at AMC and the staff at the Albany Medical Center PICU along with all the doctors and caregivers that have touched his life in so many ways.

He taught us so much and will be loved and missed by many. We love you CJ may you fly high."

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY on Friday January 17, 2020 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Crossroads Center for Children 1136 N. Westcott Road, Rotterdam NY 12306 or to Wildwood 2995 Curry Road, Schenectady NY 12306 in CJ's memory.
