Carmela Nigro, 81, of Albany, passed away on January 28, 2024 at Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
She was born on April 2, 1942 in Reggio Calabria, Italy. Carmela loved cooking for her family and spending time with them. She enjoyed gardening. She was a very talented seamstress.
She is survived by her son Rocco Nigro, daughter Mary (Joseph) Liguori, and grandchildren Gabrielle and Victoria Liguori.
A Mass will be held on Friday February 2nd at 10am at Christ the King Church, 3 Sumter Ave, Albany NY
Interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
