ALBANY – Carmella T. "Millie" Hurley, 84, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2006. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Concetta LaBello. She was a lifelong resident of Albany. Millie was the beloved wife of the late John A. Hurley. She is the devoted mom of Arlene F. (Ronald) Hallett and Maureen A. (Michael) Knauf. She is the cherished grandmother of Ronald John Hallett, Thomas John VanVorst, Michele Marie Knauf and Cindy Jo Knauf. Millie is the great-grandmother of Kaitlyn, Ashleigh, Michael Joseph and Michael Lee. She is the "adopted mom" of many nieces and nephews. Millie was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Blessed Sacrament Church at 9:00 a.m. where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Carmella T. Hurley. Expressions of sympathy may be made to newcomerfamily.com
