Carol A. Carter, 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peters with her loving family by her side.
Carol is the daughter of Theodore Dralle and the late Patricia Dralle of Guilderland, NY.
Carol is the devoted wife of 41 years, to Robert Carter.
She worked for South Colonie Central School District as a secretary and retired in 2015.
Carol enjoyed watching NASCAR and boating in Lake George. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.
In addition to her father Theodore and her husband Robert, Carol is survived by her son and daughter; Rob (Heather) Carter and Tracy Carter. She is the sister of Bill (Susan) Dralle of North Carolina. She is the adored grandmother of Jackson Carter.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at St. Peter's, McCaully 5 and the Hospice Inn for all of the care and compassion given to Carol and her family.
Memorial calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, New York on Saturday June 18, 2016 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Community Hospice Foundation 310 S. Manning Boulevard Albany, NY 12208 in Carol's memory.
