Carol A. Wilson

COHOES-Carol Ann Wilson, 69, of Cohoes, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital following a brief illness. Carol was born in Troy, the daughter of the late Prentice L. and Caroline Graber Wilson. She graduated from Catholic Central High School, received her Bachelor's Degree from the College of Saint Rose and her Master's Degree from SUNY Albany. Carol enjoyed an outstanding and diverse professional career in education and Human Resource management. She recently retired from the NYISO.
Carol is survived by her aunt Sister Katherine Graber, RSM; her sister-in-law Janet Wilson; and numerous loving aunts and cousins; her cherished "family" Gina and Trevor Schneider and their children Nancy Truesdail, Wendy, Andrew, Stephen and Mary Schneider, as well as many devoted and supportive friends.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her brother Paul Wilson, numerous aunts and uncles, and her beloved friend Gino Stirpe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Latham. Family will receive friends at 9:30 AM prior to the Mass.
Interment will be at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
