Carol Anne Desrosiers

EAST GREENBUSH – Carol Anne Desrosiers, 69, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at home surrounded by family and friends after a long illness. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Finley Orr and Helen Marie Wark.
Carol was a resident of East Greenbush for 33 years. She retired from the New York State Department of Education after 29 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed music, crocheting, camping and boating with her husband Ron. Carol liked dancing and laughing with family and friends. She loved spending Christmas with her family.
Along with her parents, Carol was predeceased by her daughter, Monique Moquin and stepsons Andrew Desrosiers and Ronald Desrosiers, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ronald Arthur Desrosiers; children Eugene Rysedorph, Shelley Bryce, Jennifer Chiera, Lori Jensen, Jason Moquin and Damon Moquin; stepchildren David Desrosiers, James Desrosiers and Alana Guerra; siblings Richard Wark, Agnes Brozowski, Finley Wark, Jr. and Linda DiPace; 33 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends who adored her.
A funeral service will be held on Monday at 6:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Rensselaer, 295 Valley View Boulevard, Rensselaer, NY 12144 in Carol's name.
