NISKAYUNA- Carol Esther Haack, age 67, passed away surrounded by family on February 12, 2021 from cancer. She lived a life full of family, friends, music and laughter until her death.
She was born in Tonawanda, NY, August 14, 1953, the daughter of the late Walter and Betty Haack.
Partnered for 39 years with her love and best friend Ann Jackson. They married- when NYS finally got it right - in July 2011. Carol with Ann fostered 11 children: Carina, Mekhi, Javion, Shareese, Shakira, Daija, Aalyia, Chyina, Evella, Carmela and Heaven. Each one holding a special place in her heart.
She is survived and loved dearly by her sisters: Barbara Boyd (late Kevin) of Scottsville, NY and Lisbeth Kreib (Norman) of Akron, NY. Beloved by 17 sisters and brothers-in-law, 39 nieces and nephews and 33 great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A service will be held at Eastern Parkway United Methodist Church, 943 Palmer Ave., Schenectady, NY 12309 on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
Gathering size within our chapels will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required and social distancing is to be observed inside and outside of our chapels.
