Carol E. Hibbard

Albany- Carol E. Hibbard, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at her home with her loving husband by her side. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine West. Carol was the devoted wife to Eugene J. Hibbard. They were married 65 years. 

Carol enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. 

In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her son, Mark Hibbard and his wife Deborah of Latham, NY; her grandson, Ryan Hibbard of Albany, NY. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Grossenbacher of New Milford, CT; and 3 nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may say final farewells on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189. There will be a short funeral service following visitation. Interment will follow at a later date at the Christ the King Spiritual Life Center Columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christ the King Spiritual Life Center in Greenwich, NY.
