Carol K. Jurewicz, 81, passed away on March 8, 2017 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home. She was born on May 5, 1935, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Egri Knize.
Carol enjoyed spending time with family, friends and especially her grand and great grand children. She excelled at counted cross stitching, and loved spending time at the family home in Safety Harbor, Florida.
Carol is survived by Charles, her loving husband of 60 years, her daughters, Susan (Robert) Fischer and Diane (Mark) Ferrara; grandchildren, Kristopher (Tina) Ferrara, Jacqueline (Thomas) Neville, Robert (Melissa) Fischer, Valarie Carol (Jared) Lewis, Kelly Fischer, Anthony (Marisa) Ferrara; great granddaughters, Zoey, Kristina Carol, Lauren Ferrara and Aoife Carol Neville.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Kingsway Arms for their compassionate care.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 2:00 - 3:00 pm at St. Madeline Sophie Church, 3500 Carmen Rd., Schenectady. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm. Interment will be determined at a later date by the family.
