Carol L. Dobski

SCHENECTADY – Carol L. Dobski, 75, of Schenectady, passed away on Monday February 9, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Albany and was the daughter of the late Julius and Pearl Smith Gall. Carol was a waitress for many years at several restaurants throughout the Capital Region. She enjoyed cooking and polka dancing.
Carol is the beloved wife of Edward J. Dobski. She is the devoted mother of Joseph Lembo and Gregg Russo. She is the sister of Julius Gall, Joan Pippert, Meta Ruddy and the late Ruth Benson. She is the cherished grandmother of Kaitlin and Michael Lembo. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 11:00 at Newcomer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorys Garden. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Carol L. Dobski.
